In Tallinn, I stayed at the Park Inn by Radisson Central Tallinn, a very nice, modern and well located hotel. Being part of the renowned hotel chain Radisson Hotels, I already imagined that I would have a good experience, but I always prefer to personally experience a hotel before recommending it to other travelers through this blog or our travel agency. What did I think of the hotel? Here are the details.
Location
This chain has several hotels in the city, but I stayed in Central Tallinn, in the Kompassi district, the modern area where the financial center of the Estonian capital is located. A very comfortable area because it has restaurants and shopping centers nearby and above all, is only a 12 minute walk from the beautiful Viru Gate, one of the entrances to the old town.
Facilities
I liked this hotel because it has very good rates and it is a modern hotel, very large and with a great service. But the fact that it is cheap does not mean that the aesthetics of the hotel are neglected, on the contrary, all its common areas have a cool contemporary design.
Our room was very spacious, with a simple, beautiful and contemporary design, like the whole hotel. It also had a fairly long balcony, although I only went out to take a photo, because being in such a beautiful city, I obviously wanted to be out on the street.
Like any large hotel, it has its event rooms, a gym and a spa, all modern and very nice, especially the event rooms. But what happened to me with this hotel is that despite the size, it made me feel at home, it reminded me a bit of a very pleasant experience I already had with another hotel of this same chain in Brussels. The truth is that the Radisson redesigned its concept very well.
By the way, I would like to mention that the staff was so kind, that the first morning when I missed breakfast because I was confused with the closing time, all the girls who worked there did their best to serve me a little, even as they were already cleaning everything.
The day I was leaving, as my ferry left very early and I had the breakfast included, they prepared a breakfast package for me at the reception. I only advised them the night before and when I was checking out, they already had the bag ready with various things such as fruit, yogurt, water, among other easy-to-carry foods. This is very important to know, especially if your hotel offers you this service when you have breakfast included, but have to travel very early before the breakfast service starts.
For which type of traveler do I recommend this hotel?
I found it ideal for any type of traveler, especially for families. In general, it is a comfortable hotel, well located and above all very economical.
